La Molina hosts the Parasnowboard IPC World Cup with facilities fully adapted and accessible
The international proves with high level for disabled people will be 2 and 3 of may
La Molina the Catalan station is situated between the Cerdanya, Ripollès and Berguedà regions, has all to host, once again, the IPC Snowboard World Cup for disabled people. This would not have been possible if the ski installations were not fully adaptable fot the disabled people.
It is for this reason that La Molina is committed to inclusion by offering several services for people with disabilities and hosting a world competition with high level. Disabled athletes can practice sky and snowboard adapted to the investments made over the last decade
The international athletes will compete 2 and 3 of Marh 2020 in the Snowboard Dual Banked Slalom (DBSL) in Torrent Negre, La Molina. This is the first time that this modality.
Has been performed around the world. This is the second season in a row that the Pyrinees host the World Cup IPC in Banked Slalom modality and this year novelty will be Dual (two athletes are going down at the same time in parallel)
Looking forward the confirmation of the international athletes for this year Parasnow IPC World Cup, 13 differents countries were participated last season and this year we expected to get over.
It offers some infrastructures that are essential for those users with reduced mobility: adapted parking spaces, rental of specific equipment for different types of disability, easy access to the different restaurants, as well as toilets adapted to enter with a chairwheels.
