La Molina hosted the 39th CIT International Derby in memory of lu Vidal
A competition, on February 22 and 23, scored by the CIT (Citizens) Cup of Alpine Skiing in Spain
La Molina hosted the 39th CIT International Derby - lu Vidal Memorial held on February 22 and 23, a test that was scored for the CIT (Citizens) Alpine Skiing Cup of Spain in modalities slalom and giant.
Last January the skier lu Vidal left us and in the competition at all times was the memory of the young Catalan runner, an edition that was noted for its emotionality. This tribute was paid by La Molina Sports Club (LMCE) which was precisely the club to which Lu Vidal belonged.
This alpine skiing competition, together with the Spanish Citizens' Championship, was marked by the tribute and memory of the skier Iu Vidal. The competition had a great participation in the different categories of the race.
In the women's category, the absolute victory was for Silvia Vila (CANMC) with just over 2 seconds to go from Arrieta Rodríguez (CEVA) and Sara Muro (Mayen). On the other hand in the men's category Ty Acosta (ECAP) he was declared winner by two tenths faster than runner Lucas Dessandier (SC Puymorens). In the Spanish Championship, Silvia Vila and Ricard Ortega (LMCE), were the runners who climbed higher on the podium.
The next day the participants competed stronger than ever in the slalom category. With podiums in the women's category for Arrieta Rodriguez, who won the absolute victory ahead of Noelia Gasienica (Jaca) and Arianna Vilar (MLEC). In men, the winner was Ricard Ortega over Arthur Maziere of France, the third place went to the Catalan of the RFEDI team Jordi Triulzi (LMCE), to a second and a half of Ortega.
