The mountain stations of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) are preparing for one of the most fun parties of the year: Carnival. Visitors can enjoy various proposals this weekend, where the good atmosphere and fun will become the main attractions of the event.

The Vallter station will celebrate the Carnival on Saturday 18 February with music and a costume contest. There will also be a stage where you can show off your costume with live music and a roulette that will distribute gifts to those who participate.

Vall de Núria organizes activities for all tastes and ages. On the weekend of February 18 and 19, the little ones in the house will be able to participate all morning in a make-up workshop, so they can paint their faces with whatever they want: animals, fairies, princes, heroines... And the most daring , they will be able to become architects in the construction workshop of a rack train with recycled elements from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. It will be a day full of fantasy. Hot chocolate will also be distributed to all visitors to the resort to sweeten up the day.

At the same time, those who want to taste a good calçotada can do so on Saturday 18 on the terrace of the Cabana del Pastor from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Then, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and taking advantage of the good weather forecast, the resort will entertain visitors with an après-ski session with a DJ, also on the terrace of the Cabana dels Pastors. An ideal proposal after a day in the snow, skiing or snowboarding.

The Pallares mountain resorts celebrate Carnival on Saturday, February 18. On the one hand, Espot will invite everyone to enjoy a different day in the snow and look around the station for the "Crocodile Dundee", which will distribute many gifts to those who go in costume and find it.

On the other hand, in Port Ainé the little ones in the house can become their favorite character in the make-up workshop. The activity will take place from 12.00 pm on the terrace of the Hotel de Port Ainé.
