'Cavalls de Vent', the crossing between eight refuges located in the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park
In the summer of 2003, the guards of the eight refuges of the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park devised a circular route that linked them through places of great natural and scenic beauty of the Tosa, Moixeró, Cadí and Massif mountain ranges. Pedraforca (in the counties of Berguedà, Cerdanya and Alt Urgell).
They baptized it as 'Cavalls de Vent' referring to the Catalan translation of the Tibetan word designating the Buddhist prayer flags (Iungta) that are placed on the tops and necks of the Himalayas to send to the four winds prayers of peace and brotherhood.
One of these hut is the Niu d'Àliga, owned by FGC - La Molina, which is the crossing point of the route and can also be the beginning and end of the journey.
